Hello from Inspiration Travelers, we are Andy and Jen and have been traveling together since 1998 and our son, when born in 2005, joined us in our travels and adventures. We hope we can inspire others to travel and see the amazing destinations that we have experienced.

We love the U.S. National Parks so you will see a big focus on those destinations as well as National Parks in Canada, which are just as amazing.

We decided to start this website and blog as we discovered that friends and co-workers would comment that “you are always going on vacation to some incredible locations and having great adventures, you should start your own travel business”. We thought why not start small with a website and blog that can inspire others while providing some travel tips.

We try to travel economically so that we can afford to do what we love to do and that is to travel and see new places and experience the people, the food, and the culture. We would like to share how we accomplish this.

We do a lot of car camping to minimize the cost, mixing in a couple of hotel nights during a one to two-week vacation. When car camping, we stay at least 2-3 nights per location. We define car camping as having a nice-sized family tent that will accommodate one full/queen air mattress and one twin air mattress, small foldable camp chairs, a small stove, small lantern, kitchen accessories, and a cooler. These are the minimal items that we will take with us on our trip regardless if we have to fly or drive to our destination. Car camping can be done comfortably and can be a lot of fun. We stay at a hotel when we will be in an area for a limited time, usually 1-2 nights. The hotel provides balance for our trip and gives a break from the camp setup and breakdown process.
